Description
This ENG EFP Camera Fiber Extension Adapter with Power Converter solution could make remote live production more simple and flexible. Camera fiber extension adapter could supply power to camera in the field over SMPTE HDTV cable. Camera adapter and CCU extension adapter are connected over single mode dark optical fiber cable to extend camera signals for CCU operation. This fiber system between camera and CCU could transmit normal video, return, tally, Intercom and data with the cutting-egde technology in simulating SMPTE hybrid fiber cable power protocol for system cameras.
The camera fiber adapter and CCU fiber adapter are designed to convert SMPTE fiber cable format to single mode normal fiber optic cable with max 10KM extension between the camera head and base station Camera Control Unit (CCU) . This EFP camera fiber optic system also could simplify signals transmission and wiring between studios, control rooms and machine rooms beyond SMPTE cable limitations.
This camera to CCU fiber system could work with some models from SONY, Panasonic,Ikegami, Hitachi. It is widely used on remote OB Van/Truck video feeds, broadcast studio camera feeds, TV station, broadcast live transmission.
